My listening environment is anything but ideal; (LOTS of rear hard surface area) but: room size is as follows: 20 feet width, 20 feet length (left side), 40 feet length right side (extends into dining area) 8 foot ceiling height.   The MG1.6/QRs stand 7½ feet apart, 6½ feet from the rear wall, & 6 feet from the side walls.   My DIY subwoofer is hidden in bottom cabinet space of entertainment center far left wall.   Much needed ficus plants were placed behind each Maggie.   Doing so tamed a good proportion of harsh shrillness.   As you can see HT is compromised -but-so what!
