Hi Ed-
*sigh* that's what I was thinking too. I've pulled the tops and bottoms off the chassis, and spread the components apart, and
it seems to be the 5.6mH (input leg) feeding through the 275uF and
back to the amplifier through negative. The coil actually gets hot
with no speaker load at the outputs. I'll update when applicable.
