yes, you can pull up just the amount of socks you need to
gain access to the xover, then push them down to their
original places, but:
1. you will have to remove the whole trims anyway
(they can of course be reapplied, just with some care
in making nails matching their original holes)
2. you will miss the magnificent possibility to hear
the maggies fully naked; i like it so much that i'll leave
them naked for a long while
