Turn around older maggies for better sound.

I own a pair of mmgs and a pair of mg1s ,while replaceing the socks(grill fabric) I noticed the mylar was on the rear.So I turn them around and reversed the polarity and WOW the mg1s sound much more open and lively.Has anyone else done mod?
