how to utilize sub with MMG's???

I am the new owner of a pair of MMG's. Love them, but am interested in adding a sub to catch to low end of the freq. range.How do I run a sub with these?. There seams to be a few different ways to go- 1. I use a two channel reciever with unpowered-sub and sub/sat the maggies from the sub-woffer.( this will suck extra juice from my two channel- 125wpc- which I think I can afford to do). 2. Use another pre/amp with "sub/out" capability ,sending low freq to powered sub. Which is the best way to do this?
