Hi Kevin,
Most people are eithe using a small piece of the same
wire as their speaker wiring, alot of others are using cat-5
computer cable with all the conductors twisted together. Yet
others are using solid core electrical wire about two inches long
bent into a "u" shape. On my 3.5R's, I'm using a piece of Goertz
flat 12" long rolled into a 1" diameter circle (in essence a low
value coil). Even better still is to open up the back of the panel
jack plate and bypass the wierd maggie binding posts altogether.
I just haven't gotten to rebuilding my internal x-overs yet.
It will include elimination of the tweeter attenuator posts altogether.

Scott
