i recently purchased a used pair of 3a's. my intentions are to biamp them using 2 counterpoint sa-100 amps. the speaker wire i have is tekline silver dielectric (directional supposedly) terminated with spades. now i have seen that people have mixed feelings about the spades. i am getting the maggie binding post convertors to accomodate this but i am still not sure if i should trade them back in for the bananas. my questions are: how should i go about biamping these speakers, should i use the spades or bananas (or does it really matter), and what tweaks/mods are available for the IIIa's. btw, i still own a pair of mmg's that i love and will use in my second system and was wondering waht mods/tweaks are available for those.
thanks for everyones help in advance.
